Carieră Dr. Corina-Aurelia Zugravu is an Associate Professor at "Carol Davila" University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest and leads the Discipline of Hygiene and Nutrition at Faculty of Midwives and Medical Assistance. Holding a doctorate in medical sciences, she has extensive experience in preventive medicine, with her primary interests revolving around lifestyle risk assessment in relation to non-communicable diseases, evaluating dietary intake and nutritional status of the population, promoting health through behavioral changes in at-risk groups, and vegetarian nutrition. She is the author or co-author of 10 books, 112 articles published in Web of Science-indexed impact factor journals, and over 50 articles published in journals indexed in international databases. She is a board-certified specialist in Nutrition and Dietetics Hygiene at the National Center for Monitoring Risks in the Community Environment within INSP (National Institute of Public Health). Over the past 13 years, she has represented Romania as a governmental expert in European Commission working groups related to nutrition.
