HPV Prevention Summit 1.0: Screening and Vaccination

We are honored to announce that the Romanian Society of Preventive Medicine, in collaboration with the Romanian HPV Society, will organize the HPV Prevention Summit 1.0: Screening and Vaccination. The event will take place at the Palace of the Parliament on June 19, 2024. This summit aims to gather experts, decision-makers, and advocates to discuss critical issues related to HPV infection prevention, vaccination, and public awareness. The major topics to be addressed include:

• The Status of HPV Vaccination in Romania: Discussions on vaccination rates, challenges, and strategies in areas with low vaccination rates.

• Projects for 2024-2025: Presentations and discussions on initiatives and projects planned by organizations and institutions in Romania for the upcoming period.

• Government Perspectives: Representatives from various government institutions will discuss public health visions and policies regarding HPV prevention and control.

• Education and Awareness: Topics such as public education, awareness through media, and the involvement of influencers will be debated to promote better understanding and acceptance of HPV vaccination.

This is just a summary of the main topics that will be discussed at the summit.
