In Romania, breast cancer is the leading cause of mortality among women, accounting for 16% of all cancer-related deaths. In this unfavorable context, in the month of October, we plan to organize a caravan that will take place in professional communities with predominantly female workforce, where Obstetrics-Gynecology and Imaging specialists will present the breast cancer screening program, as well as the benefits of mammographic examination. The correct method of self-examination of the breast area will be demonstrated, and the main changes that patients should be aware of will be highlighted.
